Mechatronics technician

Your responsibilities:

• Commissioning and programming of technical systems
• Assisting with the commissioning of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Independent troubleshooting and fault rectification
• Assembly and wiring of switchgear
• Creating PLC programmes using TIA Portal and/or CodeSys
• Connection, commissioning and testing of new systems at the factory and on-site at the customer’s premises
• You will work closely with the customer and contribute as a team player within the structures of any company

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training with an electrical engineering background, e.g. as a mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the commissioning of machinery and in PLC programming
• Knowledge of motor and drive technology is desirable
• Category B driving licence
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Very good German and good English language skills
• You are familiar with Office products such as Excel and Word.
• You are confident, have strong communication skills and are a team player.
